Teriyaki Pineapple Burger

Makes: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ground Waygu 20oz Patties
  • Scallion Mayo
    • 1/2 cup Mayo
    • 1 bunch of Scallions (Just Greens, Thinly Sliced)
  • 4 Pineapple Slices, center cut out
  • 1 Red Onion, cut into thick slices
  • 2 Brioche Buns
  • 2 Slices of Swiss Cheese
  • Teriyaki Sauce
    • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
    • 1/4 cup Water
    • 1/4 Soy Sauce
    • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
    • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp grated
    • 1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds

DIRECTIONS:

  1. For the Mayo, mix ingredients and reserve.
  2. To make the Teriyaki Sauce, mix all ingredients in an airtight container and shake well.
  3. Sear or grill patties to desired temperature.
  4. Grill pineapple and red onions until grill marks have formed and onions are tender.
  5. Toast buns on griddle until lightly browned.
  6. Place cheese on patties and broil on high until cheese is melted.
  7. Assemble and enjoy!
