Apple Sheet Pan Galette

Makes: 8-10 servings
Ingredients
- 4-5 honeycrisp apples, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 pie crusts or 2 sheets of puff pastry, cold
- 1 large egg, whisked
- ½ cup brown sugar or granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- â…› tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 ½ tsp turbinado sugar
- Heavy cream and powdered sugar for whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F bake mode or 350°F convection mode.
- Cook apples in a saucepan with cider, brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper until thickened. Allow to cool to room temperature.
- Roll out pie crusts or puff pastry into backing sheet lined with parchment. Score edges with fork.
- Arrange apples down center of crusts into rows.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cut into squares and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
