● ¼ cup chile crisp, store bought or homemade
● 1 ½# slab bacon, but into 1” cubes
● 3 tbsp brown sugar
Preheat oven to 325°F Roast mode. Lay bacon pieces on foil or parchment lined baking
sheet and cook for 25 mins. Remove from oven and toss with chile crisp and brown
sugar. Return to oven and allow to continue to render until crispy. Increase temp at
end if needed. Can also be done in cast iron on cooktop.
